since Phyllis Hemann was a child, she loved to scribble her thoughts onto
paper. Throughout her life the page drew her in like the tugging of an ocean
tide - a strength of desire that she could not ebb.When not
spending time with family and friends, she’s writing.
She’s also a bit of a
dog-training expert by default – only because her family rescued a mini-border
collie who's a veritable genius and (an enormous) troublemaker.
has appeared in magazines, newspapers, journals and anthologies. She serves as
regional advisor for the Society of Children’s Book Writers & Illustrators,
picture book, The Trouble with Frightful, is forthcoming from 4RV Publishing.
