Holly Jahangiri lives
in Houston, Texas, with her husband J.J. She has fond memories of her many years in Oklahoma, where she met and
married her husband, earned two degrees from the University of Tulsa,
and gave birth to her first child.
Holly's career as a writer includes
teaching, freelancing, role-playing game design, and technical writing. After
she had been out in the working world a while, she went back to the university
to earn her Law degree. But she realized something shortly after graduation —something she has known since fifth grade,
but almost forgot: She loved writing, and she's good at it. Though she is
comfortable and confident when it comes to her writing, it still challenges and
Holly has contributed
her work to magazines, poetry anthologies, and short story collections. She is
the author of several books, including a novel and countless technical manuals
that do not bear her name.
Trockle is her first
children's book, but it is by no means her last. She is in no particular hurry
to grow up.
Deborah C. Johnson has been illustrating for the children’s market for 25 years. In addition to illustrating, she also writes and is currently working on her first children’s book as the author and illustrator. She also enjoys designing for print and web media and dabbles in web page design, too.
This past year she illustrated her first book for 4RVPublishing, My Cat, written by Anthony LoPresti. She is now working on her second book, Boo’s Bad Day.
Deb lives in Danville, Virginia with her husband, her dog, Lexi, and cat, Josie. She has two grown children residing in Northern Virginia.
