Holly Jahangiri

Holly Jahangiri lives in Houston, Texas, with her husband J.J. She has fond memories of her many years in Oklahoma, where she met and married her husband, earned two degrees from the University of Tulsa, and gave birth to her first child.

Holly's career as a writer includes teaching, freelancing, role-playing game design, and technical writing. After she had been out in the working world a while, she went back to the university to earn her Law degree. But she realized something shortly after graduation —  something she has known since fifth grade, but almost forgot: She loved writing, and she's good at it. Though she is comfortable and confident when it comes to her writing, it still challenges and invigorates her.

Holly has contributed her work to magazines, poetry anthologies, and short story collections. She is the author of several books, including a novel and countless technical manuals that do not bear her name.

Trockle is her first children's book, but it is by no means her last. She is in no particular hurry to grow up.
